Take Action

Why is it important to take action?

The African American community has been subjected to police brutality and racially motivated violence, insufficient resources which increases crime rate and heavy policing. The highest rate of incarnation is the Black community which makes up 13.4% of the U.S. population and 38% of U.S. prisons (2,306 per 100,000). Hispanics make up 16.7% of the U.S population and have an incarceration rate of 23%(831 per 100,000). While, whites make up 64% of the US population and prisons consist of 35% (450 per 100,000). You should take these actions to truly incite change within the US although it may be challenging because of the deep structural systemic racism. By taking these actions the future will be better for future generations to live in peace, true freedom and equality.
